Introduction to Urban Wetland Bird Watching
An educational series of sessions designed to familiarize participants with the diversity of bird species found in urban wetlands. This virtual program highlights the importance of urban wetlands as critical habitats for both resident and migratory birds, while encouraging observation, appreciation, and conservation of urban birdlife.
The session was conducted by Ms. Narmadha Dangampola and was funded by the Lanka Environment Fund under the project Wonders of Wetlands.
