Love a Tree Foundation is a community-driven, registered non-profit based in Colombo, working to protect and restore urban wetlands through education, awareness, and community engagement. As a proud member of the Wetland Link International (WLI) Asia–Oceania network, we focus on strengthening the connection between people and nature — especially among children, youth, and local communities.

Our work focuses on helping people connect with and care for Colombo’s wetlands. Through education, community involvement, research, and public awareness, we encourage youth, families, and local communities to understand the value of these ecosystems and take part in protecting them. By sharing knowledge and building strong partnerships, we aim to create a lasting culture of stewardship that keeps our wetlands thriving for generations to come.
